Streetwhacks Corrections Policy
How we handle errors in market intelligence content: what counts as a correction, how to report one, and how fixes are shown.
Last updated: September 2026 · Reviewed quarterly · STREETWHACKS PRIVATE LIMITED, India
What this covers
Reference content: methodology, feature explainers, Learn articles, guides and research summaries. Live market data (which updates continuously and may revise as feeds complete) and user-generated community content follow different flows — data behaviour is described in the methodology.
How to report an error
- Use the contact page with the page URL, the exact claim and — where possible — the primary source (e.g. NSE/BSE page).
- Reports are triaged by the Streetwhacks markets and engineering team, typically within 5 business days.
- Valid factual errors are fixed; interpretive feedback is reviewed in the quarterly content cycle.
How corrections appear
- Minor fixes (typos, formatting, broken links): fixed silently with an updated review date.
- Material fixes (numbers, definitions, methodology meaning): fixed with a visible correction note and updated date at the top of the page.
- Live data: intraday figures are point-in-time; the page timestamp — not a correction note — is the source of truth.
What we will not do
We will not rewrite history to hide errors, backdate material changes, or delete a correction note to improve appearances. Where historical research is revised, the revision is dated and the prior claim is described.
Corrections FAQs
How do I report a correction?
Via the contact page with the page URL, the exact claim and the primary source where possible. Reports are triaged within 5 business days.
Will I see a note when content is corrected?
Yes for material fixes — a visible correction note with the updated date. Minor typos and formatting are fixed silently.
Do live intraday figures get correction notes?
No. Live figures are point-in-time and revise as feeds complete; the page timestamp is the source of truth.
